PORTFOLIO > Ways to Measure Distance

This body of work is about the distance between myself and a dear friend.
In designing these pieces I drew imagery from navigation to denote the distance between us in time and miles. I used architectural imagery to help frame the setting. Found objects and cultural icons touch upon the social, cultural and language barriers that frame our relationship. These pieces serve to ensure that despite this distance, we will always find our way to each other.
